Our faces paled. We were not ready for Maleficent, and I knew it... There's still a hope... Maybe, no, not my violet light! Maybe it'll still work out! The window of time for a cure is smaller, and so are our healths, but hopefully the presence of my magery will have an effect...

"Captain, I'm picking up intense gravometric distortions on the other side of this half of the galaxy," Geordi was saying. "It's similar to the ones Riku produced when he appeared on board. I've already got a reading of the site's coordinates and forwarded it to Ensign Whatley at the helm."
"Set a course, Ensign Whatley, and engage at Warp Nine."

We were not doing well. Sora was barely surviving the pounding of Maleficent's dark magic, and he was only surviving because of my casting cure at every opportunity. I aimed the front end of the Kanabo at Maleficent, and let the violet light stream.
"YOU WONT HURT MY FRIENDS!"
I hoisted my Kanabo in both hands, and ran towards Maleficent, firing out rays of a very light shade of violet. I used my violet light to support my weapon single handedly to start pounding on her, and shield both sora and me.
"You won't hurt Sora," I growled in a very loud voice. Then I blacked out from trying to maintain too many constructs.

"Ha ha ha ha ha..." Maleficent chuckled stepping closer to a battered, trembling, but still defiant Sora. All his friends were out cold, and it would only take two good knocks before he dropped into her ever so welcoming arms.
She ran out of time. There was a twinkling of lights reflected from behind her, and she was forced to deal with the wrath of her ex apprentice and his new friends.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH SORA/CHAVA?" Riku and Ashe yelled almost as one.
"I WILL DEFEND MY FRIEND'S IMPORTANT PEOPLE!"
"I WILL NOT PERMIT YOU TO ENGAGE IN THESE ILLICIT ACTIVITIES!"
"These people deserve better," Bev Crusher pronounced in her new Indigo uniform.
Green beams from Picard struck Maleficent, and an indigo wrap from Dr Crusher pushed her even further away, before she started on healing Sora and me. Ashe, Riku, and Worf rushed in, Riku swinging the Soul Eater madly, and Mr. Worf firing his phaser.
"Dark FIRE!"
Tseeer! Tseeer!
SMACK!
"Enough!" Maleficent yelled, vanishing, appearing behind Akiko and vanishing with her again. They did not reappear.
